For almost four years, Reizki Habibullah and I taught together music and community education courses for students of the Ethnomusicology study program at ISI Sura Karta.One of the activities is to facilitate students to practice as music educators in formal, non-formal and informal educational environments. Some of the reference teaching materials used are books produced by the Center for Curriculum and Books (PUSKURBUK). I really didnt think that finally we would both be given the opportunity to play a role and dedicate the knowledge of music and ethnomusicology that we have to a wider audience through the publication of this book.On behalf of the writing team, we would like to thank all parties who have assisted in the process of writing this third grade music teachers guidebook.
